How to check the quality of marble slab:
Common test one:
drop a drop of ink on the back of the stone,if the ink scattered
around quickly, which means that the particles inside the stone are
loose, and the quality is poor. But if the ink drops do not
penetrate, it indicates that the stone is dense and the quality is
good.
The inimosmosis of the fruit and ink droplets may indicate that the
texture of the stone is more compact and the water absorption is
low. The marble generally brushed a layer of protective agent to
prevent stains from penetrating. Even if the customer sees ink drop
impermeable, it is likely to be a protective agent, not a
manifestation of the property of the stone itself. In addition, if

Common test two:
Vinegar will react with marble to form calcium acetate. Therefore,

itself is weak, it requires a longer reaction time. Consumers can
not see the result for a while. The effect of dilute hydrochloric
acid is quite obvious.
Common test three:
Hit the marble, and pay attention to the sound. If the sound is
crisp, it shows that the product is of good quality, inside and
meticulous without cracks. If the sound is rough and dumb, it will
prove that there are cracks in the marble and loose texture.
This test only shows that the stone texture hard, brittle and high
strength, and can't be judged as stone quality standards, because
the sound of the stone itself, the size of all varieties have a
certain relationship, the relatively high intensity of marble is
suitable for ground.
